Changes in COVID Protocols

As you all know, March 21st the mask mandate was lifted for all but a few places.
Masks will be optional for everyone in St. James congregational setting.

We will continue to observe social distancing
which means that the pews will continue to be roped off a while longer.
You have the option of sitting with your friends if you are comfortable doing so.

We will be taking attendance March 27th.
As of April 3rd we will not be signing in
and the centre door off Colborne Street will be open
as well as the near door off the parking lot.
We will be serving coffee following the service in the Muriel Bridge Room,
but not sandwiches.

We have put the Hymn books back into the pews
and Sunday, March 27th, we will be using bulletins during the service.
Also, Sunday, March 27th,
you will be given your copy of our Annual Report as you enter the sanctuary.

We have not purchased offering envelopes for the year 2022.
We have boxes of envelopes that were not used in previous years
that we will black out the number on them
and make them available for you to use.
We ask that you put your envelope number or your name on them
so you can receive credit for tax receipt purposes.

At St. James,
our ministry is committed to building up the congregation among us
and the church far beyond us.
We are presently celebrating 178 years of service in and to our community and the world.
We are people of God sharing in faith, and sharing our faith.
We are adults, teens and children coming together to practice our faith.

We have a lot of good things going for us:
excellent sermons, Vacation Bible Adventure in July, Bible Study, Retreats at Five Oaks,
and many other activities – card nights, potlucks, special programs
– and so much more.
